Elena studied modern languages and linguistics and completed her post-graduate studies in art history in Saint Petersburg. She received several scholarship awards in Russia and Germany to fulfill research projects in history of arts and literature. Besides this academic background, she enjoyed courses in musical studies and lessons in piano. She worked as a teacher, coordinator of studying programs for graduate students, interpreter, and lecturer in St. Petersburg and collaborated with exhibition production of the Hermitage Amsterdam. She joined TACT in 2011.
