Since Kokareva's debut at the prestigious Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro as Madama Cortese and Delia in Il viaggio a Reims, Kokareva found her artistic home in Berlin as a member of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden Berlin International Opera Studio. A string of role debuts followed beginning with Musetta in Lindy Hume's La Boheme conducted by Giuseppe Mentuccia, Papagena in Die Zauberflöte, Dirce in Medea, Barbarina in Le Nozze under Marc Minkowski.
Upcoming engagements include her debut in Théâtre des Champs Elysées house debuts, as well as her role debut as Susanna Le Nozze di Figaro at the Staatsoper Berlin.
On the concert platform Maria is slated to present a solo Lied Recital at the Staatsoper Unter de Linden in 2025.
Maria’s achievements have been marked by a number of awards, notable are a Prize for "The Best Singer Under 25" at the "Concorso Lirico Internazionale Portofino"; Winner of the 73° competition for young opera singers AsLiCo section “Voci Emergenti”. Furthermore, she was a finalist in the International Contest of Young Vocalists Elena Obraztsova and was honored with the Special Prize of the Elena Obraztsova Charitable Foundation.
Maria was a studio member of Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and holds advanced degrees from Tyumen State Institute of Culture, Conservatorio di musica Luigi Cherubini (Firenze), Academy of Luciano Pavarotti, Modena.
