We are delighted to welcome conductor Marta Kluczyńska to the TACT roster.
A dynamic and versatile artist, she has established herself as a leading presence on the operatic, ballet and symphonic stage.
Her professional development includes participation in prestigious international programs: in 2019, she took part in the Hart Institute for Women Conductors at The Dallas Opera, and she has participated in workshops organized by the European Network of Opera Academies, including during the Edinburgh Festival (United Kingdom, 2010) and at the Académie Européenne du Festival d'Aix-en-Provence.
Marta has been working at the Polish National Opera and Ballet since 2008. She served as Music Director of Polish National Ballet from 2021 to 2024, where her recent productions included The Lady of the Camellias, Giselle and Pinocchio by Weinberg/Hop. She also made her UK debut with Birmingham Royal Ballet conducting Cinderella and is a frequent guest of other leading ballet companies in Poland.
Dedicated to cultural preservation, Marta is the visionary behind a Polish National Opera series reviving forgotten national works, including Jarecki's Barbara Radziwiłłówna (2022), Różycki's Beatrix Cenci (2024), and Grossman's The Ghost of the Governor (2025). Her creative leadership also drives the annual outdoor opera festival at Nieborów Castle, where she has conducted a wide repertoire from Mozart to Dvořák.
In the upcoming season, she will conduct the world premiere of The Android Hunter with the Polish National Ballet. She will also revive Pinocchio by Weinberg/Hop in Warsaw and return to Teatr Wielki in Poznań conducting Don Juan and 4-Pastor/Leon & Lightfoot/Bondara.
Her concert credits include performances with Sinfonia Varsovia, the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Polish Radio Orchestra, the Sarajevo Philharmonic, Lviv National Philharmonic, and several regional Polish philharmonics.
