We are proud to announce that the 2025–2026 season of the Polish National Opera will feature a remarkable lineup of TACT artists in some of the most anticipated productions of the year.
The season opens with Carmina Burana, running from September 2025 to June 2026, featuring soprano Aleksandra Olczyk and countertenor Jan Jakub Monowid.
In October, Madama Butterfly will see Bror Magnus Tødenes as Pinkerton and Mateusz Michałowski as Sharpless (Oct 10–15), followed by Nabucco (Oct 25–31) with Stepan Drobit as Nabucco, Oksana Nosatova as Abigaille, Lilia Istratii as Fenena, and Giorgi Chelidze and Rafał Siwek alternating as Zaccaria.
In December, Gabriela Legun stars as Pamina and Nimrod David Pfeffer conducts Die Zauberflöte (Dec 3–Jan 3). The new year continues with La bohème (Jan 16–24), featuring Gabriela Legun as Mimì, Konu Kim as Rodolfo, Szymon Mechliński as Marcello, and Jerzy Butryn as Colline.
Tadeusz Szlenkier takes on the role of the Emperor in Die Frau ohne Schatten (Feb 15–28), followed by Agnieszka Rehlis as Lisa in The Passenger (Mar 8–12).
Verdi’s Simon Boccanegra returns in March (Mar 19–24), with Gabriela Legun as Maria and Rafał Siwek as Fiesco. In April, Falstaff returns to the Warsaw stage after nearly 50 years, featuring Mateusz Michałowski in the title role, Stepan Drobit as Ford, Aleksandra Olczyk as Nanetta, and Konu Kim as Fenton (Apr 17–26).
In May, a new staging of La Traviata (May 23–31) presents Aleksandra Olczyk as Violetta, Bror Magnus Tødenes as Alfredo, and Mateusz Michałowski and Szymon Mechliński sharing the role of Giorgio Germont.
The season closes in June with Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette (June 13–23), featuring Rafał Siwek as Frère Laurent.
Additionally, Patrick Fournillier, Music Director of the Polish National Opera, will conduct multiple productions throughout the season.
