We are proud to share the exciting news that baritone Boris Pinkhasovich has been recently nominated for the prestigious Österreichischer Musiktheaterpreis in the category supporting role for his performance of Prince Yeletsky in “Queen of Spades” at the Wiener Staatsoper. Established in 2012 by Cons. Karl-Michael Ebner, Österreichischer Musiktheaterpreis, is awarded for outstanding achievements in Austria's opera and theatre houses and the diverse Austrian festival scene. In addition to productions and organisations, renowned jury members also nominate specific artists. For Boris, this nomination highlights his various artistic achievements in Austria and on the world stage in general.

Those who wish to congratulate Boris Pinkhasovich are invited tonight to Wiener Staatsoper for his Sharpless in “Madame Butterfly”. The next chance to see him on stage will be in the new season in London at the Royal Opera House as Belcore in “L'Elisir d'amore”, and in Munich at Bayerische Staatsoper as Sharpless and in the award-nominated role of Prince Yeletsky.
