We are delighted to announce that Lindsay Ammann, one of the most sought-after artists of her generation, has joined the TACT roster. 

Recent and upcoming highlights include her sensational role debut as Amme in Die Frau ohne Schatten at Opéra National de Lyon, a role she will reprise at Polish National Opera; Serena Joy in A Handmaid’s Tale (San Francisco Opera); Maddalena in Rigoletto and Erda/Flosshilde/Erste Norn in Der Ring des Nibelungen (Deutsche Oper Berlin); Mescalina in Le Grand Macabre and Louise in Die Teufel von Loudon  (Bayerische Staatsoper); Dritte Dame in Die Zauberflöte (The Metropolitan Opera & Grand Théâtre de Genève); and La zia principessa in Suor Angelica (Met).

She is widely acclaimed for her portrayal of Erda, Flosshilde, and Erste Norn in Wagner’s Ring Cycle, which she has performed at the Metropolitan Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Washington National Opera, Canadian Opera Company, Dallas Opera, and Atlanta Opera.

Other important roles includeJezibaba, Azucena, Brangäne, Mistress Quickly, Larina in Eugene Onegin,, and Forester’s Wife in The Cunning Little Vixen at major venues including Bayerische Staatsoper, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Staatsoper Stuttgart, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Central City Opera, and Aalto Theater Essen.

On the concert stage, Ms. Ammann has performed Martha in John Adams’ The Gospel According to the Other Mary with the Netherlands Radio Orchestra, Dvořák’s Requiem at Carnegie Hall, and Die Walküre with the Los Angeles Philharmonic under Gustavo Dudamel.

In summer 2026, she returns to The Santa Fe Opera to sing Larina and Mother Wegener in Lili Elbe.
