We are finally left speechless by the performance of Lindsay Ammann, Nanny with astonishing bass depth, seemingly inexhaustible vocal power, formidable in her composition evoking the governess in Rebecca.
Lindsay Ammann finally turns out to be the best Nanny heard on the current circuit. We could only give the example of its finale of the second act, jubilant and whose last note is held beyond reason despite the deluge (of decibels) which falls on the stage but that would be to ignore all the vocal trickery that she knows how to color with demonic accuracy.
Ammann impresses with her excessive ambitus and the brilliance of her feverish tone. Its bass, nourished by abundant breath, resonates in the depths of its instrument, while its treble has the brilliance of a dagger.
