Biography Highlights

Agata Zając´s recent and future engagements include collaboration  with Orquesta Sinfonica de Barcelona, NDR Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Filharmonia Sudecka, The Hallé, the BBC Philharmonic, Manchester Camerata, the Britten Sinfonia, the San Remo Symphony Orchestra, the Mendelssohn Academy Orchestra, Grazer Philharmoniker, Orchestre national de Metz, Orchestre de Picardie, the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, the Athens Philharmonia, the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra (NOSPR), Szczecin Philharmonic and the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. During this season Agata will be the fellow conductor of NDR Elbphilharmonie Hamburg under the tutelage of Alan Gilbert and Assistant conductor to Ludovic Morlot at Orquesta Sinfónica de Barcelona.
She served as resident conductor at  Filharmonia Sudecka, the Torun Symphony Orchestra and the Warsaw Chamber Opera. She was also a student at the Tonhalle Conducting Academy under Paavo Järvi, the Tanglewood Music Festival with Andris Nelsons, the Gstaad Conducting Academy and the NOSPR Conducting Academy with Marin Alsop. Agata was awarded the Mills Williams Junior Fellowship in conducting at the Royal Northern College of Music.

Conducting: Anna Clyne This Midnight Hour with the BBC Philharmonic, Dvorak Symphony no. 7 with Manchester Camerata, Brahms Symphony no. 1 with the NOSPR in Katowice. Resident Assistant Conductor with the Sudeten Philharmonic Orchestra and the Toruń Symphony Orchestra; also collaborated with Britten Sinfonia, Grazer Philharmoniker, Orchestre national de Metz, Orchestre de Picardie, Malmö Opera, Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, Athens Philharmonia, Szczecin Philharmonic, Poznań Philharmonic, Opole Philharmonic and Zielona Góra Philharmonic.
