Alejandro Del Ángel joins TACT

TACT is thrilled to announce the addition of tenor Alejandro Del Angel to its roster of artists. Alejandro is from Guadalajara, Mexico. He has received extensive training in vocal technique and coaching at the National Conservatory of Music of Mexico and the National School of Music at UNAM. He is currently a member of the IOS Zurich.

Alejandro has participated in numerous concerts, festivals, productions, and opera galas in different theaters and concert halls in Mexico, the USA, Colombia, Monte Carlo, Switzerland, and Spain. 
Alejandro has worked with renowned conductors such as Nicola Luisotti, Donato Renzetti, Simone Young, Srba Dinic, Marcus Poschner, Adrian Kelly, Massimo Zanetti, and with Stage Directors such as Jean-Louis Grinda, Andreas Homiki, Tatjana Gürbaca, Robert Carsen, Barrie Kosky, Moshe Leiser & Patrice Caurier. 
 

His recent and upcoming engagements include Gastone and cover of Alfredo (Javier Camarena) in La Traviata and cover of Jonas Kaufmann in Andrea Chenier at Opera de Monte Carlo, Turiddu in Cavalleria Rusticana at Prague National Opera, Erster Geharnischter in The Magic Flute at Opernhaus Zurich, next to Macduff in Macbeth, Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi, Gennaro in Lucrezia Borgia, and Rodolfo in La Boheme - all at aalto Theater Essen
Past engagements include Alfredo in Traviata, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, and Macduff in Macbeth at EOBA - Mexico City.

Alejandro's talent has been recognized in several international singing competitions, including Placido Domingo's Operalia Lisbo, the Stanisław Moniuszko competition in Poland and the National Opera Singing Competition "Fanny Anitua" in Durango, Mexico.

We are excited to have Alejandro Del Angel join the TACT family and look forward to witnessing his continued success as a talented and accomplished tenor.
