Vitaliy Kowaljow's recent and upcoming engagements include Pimen in Boris Godunov and Ramfis in Aida at Bayerische Staatsoper München, Timur in Turandot at the Metropolitan Opera New York, and at the Teatro alla Scala alongside Anna Netrebko and Raúl Giménez. Next, performing Grande Inquisitore in Don Carlo at the Wiener Staatsoper as well as Timur in Turandot at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden London and returning to the Metropolitan as Timur in Turandot. 

Throughout his illustrious career, Vitalij Kowaljow has captivated audiences with over 40 performed roles, showcasing his versatility and mastery across various operatic works. Praised for his commanding presence and emotive delivery, he has portrayed characters ranging from Verdi's King Philip in "Don Carlo" to Wagner's Wotan in "Der Ring des Nibelungen" and Russian language roles like Prince Igor and Pimen in "Boris Godunov."

Vitalij's international acclaim extends beyond opera houses to concert halls, where he has collaborated with esteemed orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and Orquestra Nacional de España. His performances of Verdi's Requiem have been hailed for their profound interpretation and vocal prowess.

In addition to his stage performances, Vitalij Kowaljow's recordings, including works by Puccini, Leoncavallo, and Don Giovanni, showcase his artistry and musical depth. His portrayal of Colline in the feature film release of Puccini's "La Bohème" further highlights his versatility as an artist.
