We are delighted to welcome British baritone Thomas Chenhall to our roster.
Born in 1997, Thomas has already built a rich and diverse career in the UK and beyond.
Highlights include Sailing Master in Ted Huffmann’s new production of The Story of Billy Budd, Sailor at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence; Curio (Giulio Cesare) at the Glyndebourne Festival and on tour with The English Concert under Harry Bicket, featuring performances at the Barbican and Carnegie Hall; Mozart’s Requiem with Orchestre Philharmonique du Strasbourg alongside tenor Michael Spyres;, as well as Papageno (Die Zauberflöte) for the Royal Ballet & Opera Covent Garden Outreach Live Stream, Laquais (Don Quichotte) at the Wexford Festival Opera, and Il Conte d’Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro) with Hampstead Garden Opera, and productions of Otello, Das Wunder der Heliane, and Les Mamelles de Tirésias as a Studio Artist atOpera National du Rhin Strasbourg.
In the summer 2026 he returns to the Barbican as Elviro (Serse) with the Academy of Ancient Music under Laurence Cummings and sings the title role of Don Giovanni at the Palau de la Música in Valencia.
