Stefani Krasteva joins TACT for General Management

We are delighted to welcome soprano Stefani Krasteva to TACT for General Management! 

In the current season, Stefani will sing Glauce in Cherubini’s Medea and Tatiana in Eugene Onegin — both at Sofia Opera and Ballet Theater, Gilda in Rigoletto at State Opera Rousse, Soprano Solo in Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater and in Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 with the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra.

Stefani Krasteva past engagements include Bastienne in Bastien und Bastienne, Dolcina in Suor Angelica, the main character in The Little Red Riding Hood and the Puss in The Puss in Boots — both operas by César Cui, Adina in L’elisir d’amore, Liù in Turandot, Micaela in Carmen and Pamina in Die Zauberflöte.

Next to opera, Ms Krasteva is a successful concert singer, with appearances on many national and international concert stages. Her repertoire includes the soprano solo parts in Mozart’s Coronation Mass and Requiem, Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis, Mass in C major, Op. 86 and Choral Fantasy, Op. 80, next to works by Bulgarian composers — Lazar Nikolov’s Metamorphoses, Zahari, Marin Goleminov’s the Icon Painter, among others.

Stefani Krasteva graduated from the National Music Academy's Prof. Pantcho Vladigerov’ in Sofia, where she studied classical singing with Prof. Ivanka Ninova and acting with Mr Plamen Kartalov. Currently she is mentored by the world-renowned soprano Krassimira Stoyanova in Vienna.
