We are delighted to welcome British tenor Samuel Stopford to the roster of TACT Artists Management!
A singer of remarkable vocal presence, rich with Italianate fervor and tenorial beauty, Samuel is currently in his first year at the Opera Studio of the Bayerische Staatsoper. In the 2024/25 season, he makes his house and role debut as Lord Arturo Bucklaw (Lucia di Lammermoor), followed by roles in Die Zauberflöte, La Bohème, Der Rosenkavalier, and Don Carlo, working with renowned conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Carlo Rizzi, and Vladimir Jurowski.
Before joining the Bayerische Staatsoper, Samuel was a member of the Salzburger Festspiele Young Singers Project 2024, making his debut at the historic Felsenreitschule in a new production of Prokofiev’s The Gambler, directed by Peter Sellars. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, London, he has performed extensively across Europe, Asia, and the United States, including debuts at Wigmore Hall, the Shanghai Symphony Hall, and major concert appearances with the Nürnberger Symphoniker.
We look forward to a successful collaboration and many exciting musical milestones ahead!
