Soprano Iwona Sobotka returns to the Polish National Opera in May, stepping into the role of Violetta Valéry in La Traviata. The production is led by Patrick Fournillier.
Alongside her appearance in La Traviata, Iwona will also be making her house debut next month as Contessa in Le Nozze di Figaro at the National Opera of Estonia.
Coming up, Iwona will perform and Missa in C major with Radio Fiharmonish Orkestr at Utrecht and Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 with Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin before making her debut at The Chicago Opera Theatre and Teatro Real in Madrid. She also looks forward to for her return to the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival this summer.
On the concert platform, Iwona will make appearances with the London Symphony Orchestra performing Szymanowski's Stabat Mater and Brahms German Requiem under the baton of Sir Simon Rattle.
