We are extremely excited to announce that American bass David Leigh has joined the TACT agency roster for General Management. David Leigh has quickly gained recognition for his visceral and intelligent singing, described by Opera News as "a bass of unusual agility, depth and darkness."

In the 2023-24 season, Leigh will portray Hagen in a new Ring Cycle at Opernhaus Zürich. He recently performed König Marke in Wagner's Tristan und Isolde at the Santa Fe Opera, following the pandemic-related cancellations of his performances as Filippo in Don Carlo at the Dallas Opera and Gurnemanz in Parsifal at the Canadian Opera Company.

Among David's current engagements is his debut as Commendatore in Don Giovanni at the Hyōgo Performing Arts Center at Kyoto, his return to Opernhaus Zürich as Fafner in a new production of Wagner's Siegfried. Additionally, he will make his debut with Jacaranda Music in Los Angeles for the world-premiere of Peter Knell and Stephanie Fleischman's Arkhipov.
