Baritone Attila Mokus has signed with TACT for General Management, and we are thrilled to extend a warm welcome to him as the newest addition to TACT's artist roster!
Among his recent and ongoing engagements are performances as Sonora in 'La Fanciulla del West,' Police Inspector in 'Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk,' Albert in 'Werther,' Melot in 'Tristan und Isolde,' Il Conte Monterone in 'Rigoletto,' Paolo Albiani in 'Simon Boccanegra,' and Marquis de la Force in 'Dialogues des Carmélites,' all at the renowned Vienna State Opera.
Mokus, originally from Novi Sad, Serbia, pursued his studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, subsequently marking his operatic debut as Giorgio Germont in 2010 in Novi Sad. His illustrious career includes standout roles such as the lead in 'Nabucco' at Staatstheater Mainz, Il Conte di Luna in 'Il Trovatore,' Valentin in 'Faust,' Yeletskiy in 'Pique Dame' at the State Opera Novi Sad, Jago in 'Otello,' and Rodrigo di Posa in 'Don Carlo' with Oper Burg Gars. He has also portrayed Giorgio Germont in 'La Traviata' at the Werdenberg Festival.
