We are delighted to welcome Mexican conductor and pianist Abdiel Vázquez to our management roster. A Steinway Artist and one of Mexico’s most versatile musicians, Vázquez is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Philharmonic Orchestra La Súper in Monterrey and currently serves as Head Coach and Assistant Conductor for the National Opera Company in Mexico City.

His recent and upcoming engagements include La vida breve and El amor brujo with Ópera de Bellas Artes & Compañía Nacional de Danza, Così fan tutte and Le nozze di Figaro at Teatro La MaMa in New York, Lucia di Lammermoor at Opera in Williamsburg, Carmina Burana in Monterrey, and collaborations with the Flint Symphony Orchestra, Orquesta Sinfónica de Michoacán, and Orquesta Solistas de América.

As a pianist, Vázquez has performed at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, Palacio de Bellas Artes, Teatro Colón, and Festival Internacional Cervantino, appearing as soloist with leading orchestras and premiering works by composers such as Samuel Barber, Manuel M. Ponce, and Juan Pablo Contreras.

A recipient of Mexico’s National Youth Award, presented by the President of Mexico at the age of 21, Abdiel Vásquez brings both artistry and leadership to every project.
