Biography highlights

Born in Thessaloniki, Greece, Timos Sirlantzis graduated in Singing, Harmonielehre, Violin, and Piano from the Greek National Conservatoire and Municipal Conservatory of Alexandroupolis, and in Pedagogy from Democritus University of Thrace, Greece. 
Currently, he is a student of Teru Yoshihara at Stuttgart State University of Music and Performing Arts. 

 

Timos has performed Cole Porter’s Kiss me Kate and George Kouroupos' Pylades with Camerata-Armonia Atenea at Odeon of Herodes Atticus, Athens Concert Hall and Epidaurus Arts Festival, Calchas in  Offenbach’s La belle Hélène with OLVIO theater, Athens, as well as Athanasios Simoglou’s Brichst du auf gen Ithaka (Gasteig, Munich), Mozart’s Requiem with Greek Radio Symphony Orchestra, Beethoven’s Missa in C-dur and Handel’s Messiah with Camerata-Armonia Atenea at the Athens Concert Hall.

 

Recent and upcoming engagements include Don Alfonso in Così fan tutte for Daegu Opera House, South Korea, The Officer in Philip Glass’ In the Penal Colony with Camerata Armonia Atenea at Onassis Cultural Centre, Athens, and Sprecher and 1. Priester in Die Zauberflöte with the Greek National Opera among others.

 

Apart from singing, Timos is conductor of Amphipolis State Marschall Orchestra.
