Debuts at the Dutch National Opera in Amsterdam in a world creation Animal Farm by Alexander Raskatov and at the Vienna State Opera singing double roles Benjamin/Young Actress; Pink Giant in GerMANIA at the Opera National de Lyon. In concert, he performed solo parts in Carmina Burana by Orff, Stabat Mater by Rossini, Messa di Gloria by Puccini and Rossini in collaboration with the orchestra "Les siècles romantiques" supervised by Jean-Philippe Dubor.

Dutch National Opera - Raskatov - Animal Farm - Benjamin
The tenor Karl Laquit was cast in two roles, as Pigetta and as Benjamin, the old and cynical donkey, which allowed him to show off his interpretive skills. His wide vocal range allowed him to successfully portray the two very different characters, in which he embraced the high tessitura of the female Pigetta with ease. His ability to incorporate the braying sound of a donkey was equally notable.
