Above all, the finale of Franco Parac's "Judita", premiered in 2000, sounds overwhelmingly dazzling and enormously effective, sung just as excellently by the Croatian Radio Choir as it is performed by Petrović with impact and a beguiling lirico-spinto-soprano.
The focus was on Sofija Petrovic in the title role, who with her dramatic mezzo had to fear neither the emotionally charged orchestra nor the enemy commander.
