Sebastián Almánzar tells how he was dazzled by music as a child. ”Talent without discipline remains stagnant. My first approach to conducting was attending the concerts of the Symphonic Band of the University of Antioquia, which were held at "Unicentro mall in Medellin" every Sunday at the end of the month. My grandfather always took me since I can remember; I remember that he never looked at anyone other than the gray-haired gentleman with the stick as he used to say...”, he recounts.
Sebastián Almánzar, one of the best conductors in an European competition for orchestra conductors.
