Polina, Milovzor, as well as the Governess, were sung by the wonderful mezzo Olga Syniakova. Olga has a very beautiful mezzo-soprano voice, she is a wonderful actress and is memorable in all her scenes. By the way, I can’t help but note how wonderfully the voices merge in the duet of Lisa and Polina, with what subtle nuances they decorated it, making it one of the most exquisite moments in the performance.
Olga Syniakova who sings Daphnis in the pastoral but especially Polina has a very beautiful mezzo voice, very homogeneous, with a velvety timbre, with varied colors and which very effectively asserts the character.
"Excellent performance by Olga Syniakova, who in addition to the part of Milovzor [...] replaced the indisposed [Polina] at the last moment."
“The mezzo-soprano Olga Syniakova comes from Ukraine. Very serious, pale and sad, she sings her way into the hearts. Determined, with secure high notes and a shatteringly beautiful piano, she masters all registers. Sobbing, she succeeds in the Lacrimosa, as if she wanted to call for peace. At the end, understandable tears.”
Teresa, the owner of the mill, [...] is entrusted to Olga Syniakova, a beautiful mezzo with a full, round voice. Her recitals, her "Piano amici", where she defends her ward, as well as her participation in the ensembles, call for nothing but praise.
Syniakova as the amorous teenage boy Cherubino, provides one of the most convincing “trouser roles” [...] I’ve ever seen.
Olga Syniakova offered a Giulietta full of dramatic subtleties: conniving and confident, vocally she showed robustness and density in a strong central register and a singing full of nuances
Olga Syniakova [...], a versatile mezzo-soprano with a perfectly developed center, dramatic facility and enough temperament to underpin complex characters, such as her Romeo in Bellini ("Se Romeo t'uccise un fi glio").
