Moisés Marín

Biography Highlights

In the 2025/2026 season, Moisés Marín will take part in the world premiere of El enemigo del pueblo, a co-production of the Palau de les Arts and Teatro Real. He will also appear in The Bartered Bride (La novia vendida) by Smetana and return to both the Teatro de la Maestranza and the Gran Teatre del Liceu. Alongside his operatic engagements, he maintains an active concert career in close artistic collaboration with pianist Rubén Fernández Aguirre.

His repertoire ranges from Rossini and Donizetti to Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, Wagner, and contemporary opera. Recent highlights include Pirro Ermione, NAXOS recording, Pollione Norma, Belmonte Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Jacquino Fidelio, Goro Madama Butterfly, and Steuermann Der fliegende Holländer. He has also appeared as Percy Anna Bolena under Fabio Biondi, Dorvil La scala di seta with Alberto Zedda, Don Ottavio Don Giovanni, Nemorino L’elisir d’amore, the Duke Rigoletto, and Pang Turandot.
He has collaborated with conductors and artists including Nicola Luisotti, Ivor Bolton, Maurizio Benini, Fabio Biondi, Roberto Abbado, Mariella Devia, Gregory Kunde, Plácido Domingo, and Eric Halfvarson.

Born in La Zubia (Granada), Moisés Marín has been acclaimed for his beautiful timbre, powerful projection, and compelling stage presence. Since completing his training at the Centre de Perfeccionament del Palau de les Arts (2017/18), he has established himself as one of Spain’s most versatile tenors.
Moisés Marín is the First Prize winner of the Concurso Internacional de Canto Ciudad de Logroño, where he also received the Zarzuela Prize. He trained with Carlos Chausson and Renata Scotto and was a member of the Opera Studio Ensemble of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome.
