Konstantin Volostnov is the first and only Russian organist to triumph in the renowned St. Albans Organ Competition in the UK, and in the prestigious Goedicke Organ Competition in Russia, the E.F. Walcker competition in Germany.
He performed with conductors Kent Nagano, Jean-Christophe Spinosi, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Mikhail Pletnev, and Vladimir Yurovsky in the EU, UK, North America, performing at Birmingham City Hall, St. Albans Cathedral, Chartres Cathedral, Haarlem St. Bavo, Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, Notre Dame de Montreal, Essen Philharmonie, and Bamberg Philharmonie.
In the coming season, he will tour Germany and Switzerland and participate in prestigious organ festivals.
Konstantin graduated from the Moscow Conservatory and completed postgraduate programs at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Stuttgart.
His discography includes over 20 CDs recorded for Naxos, Priory Records, Motette, and Melodia labels. Since 2022, Konstantin Volostnov lives in Germany.
