Marcello La Bohème and  Foreman in Janáček’s Jenůfa with Santa Fe Opera; Marcello La Bohème at the European Music Academy in Czech Republic; The Gardener in the world premiere of Poul Ruders’ The Thirteenth Child;  Herr Zeller in The Sound of Music and Masetto in Don Giovanni as an apprentice at the Glimmerglass Festival's young artist program.

Don Magnifico and Dandini (cover) La Cenerentola, Lieutenant Audebert Silent Night and Captain Eugene Onegin, Harlequin and Der Lakai/Perückenmacherand Ariadne auf Naxos. Concert repertoire includes baritone soloist in Vaughan Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem.

 
 

Awards & Education

Winner of the  Metropolitan Opera District Competition, Burns is a recent graduate from the University of British Columbia and from Valencia College having studied Vocal Performance and Theater.
