Alexander Miminoshvili hatte als Figaro nicht nur die Sympathie des Publikums, sondern auch die meisten Lacher auf seiner Seite. Er scheint die Rolle seines Lebens gefunden zu haben und ging geradezu in seinem Spiel auf. Stimmlich präsentierte sich der russische Bassbariton mit kantiger, agiler Stimme. Seine differenziert gezeichneten Gesangslinien, bot er u.a. in „Aprite un po'quegli occhi” eindrucksvoll dar.
