We are thrilled to announce that Vera Nemirova, an esteemed stage director, has joined our management roster. Vera has had a remarkable career, directing a diverse array of productions spanning opera, theatre, and concert settings. Her directorial credits encompass a wide range of works, from classics to contemporary pieces. She has directed at renowned venues such as the Staatsoper Hamburg, Wiener Staatsoper, Gran Teatro del Liceu Barcelona, Salzburger Festspiele, Lucerne Festival, and many others.
In recent seasons, Vera has been recognized for her innovative interpretations and compelling storytelling, earning accolades such as the Kristall Lira Prize for her production of Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk at Opera Ruse, Bulgaria.
This season, audiences can look forward to two big premieres under Vera's direction: "Don Giovanni" at Staatstheater Nürnberg and "Tannhäuser" at Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, alongside a revival of "Don Carlo" at Semperoper Dresden. Additionally, Vera is excited to continue her collaboration with State Opera Varna and expand her artistic horizons with contracts at Theater Dortmund, Volkstheater Rostock, and Philharmonie Luxembourg.
