Tadeusz Szlenkier joins TACT for General Managment

We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to our artist roster, the exceptional Tenor Tadeusz Szlenkier! 

This season, Szlenkier is set to captivate audiences with a series of highly anticipated role debuts, including the Emperor in Strauss’ Die Frau ohne Schatten, the titular role of Lohengrin in an exciting new production at the Nürnberg Staatstheater, and Don Alvaro in Verdi’s La forza del destino in a new production of Mariusz Treliński at the Teatr Wielki in Warsaw where he also returns as Cavaradossi in Tosca.

Guest engagements have brought Szlenkier to the Staatstheater Karlsruhe, the Wielki Warsaw National Opera, and the Bern Opera House, where he has received critical acclaim for his performances as Cavaradossi in Tosca, Don Carlo, Manrico in Il Trovatore, the Italian Singer in Der Rosenkavalier, and Don José in Carmen.

Notably, Szlenkier's versatility encompasses a range of roles in the Slavic repertoire, including Anatol Kuragin in War and Peace, Prince Rusalka, Jontek in Halka, and the Shepherd in Szymanowski's King Roger. His performances have been lauded for his "fine bel canto technique" by the esteemed publication, Opera Now.
