TACT is thrilled to announce the addition of the outstanding mezzo-soprano Maya Gour to our artist management roster. Represented globally by Sofia Rukin in collaboration with Mattia Campetti of IMG Artists, Maya’s captivating artistry and dynamic stage presence have earned her acclaim on some of the world’s most prestigious stages.
Maya Gour’s upcoming engagements promise to showcase her versatility and vocal prowess. Soon she will perform Angelina in a film adaptation of La Cenerentola directed by Damiano Michieletto. At the opera scene, Maya is set to perform Giovanna Seymour in Anna Bolena with Ópera Nacional de Chile, Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia with Israeli Opera. She will make her highly anticipated debuts as Carmen in Carmen and Polina in The Queen of Spades with Oper Leipzig.
She has enchanted audiences as Maddalena in Rigoletto at Dutch National Opera, Mary in Die Fliegende Holländer under Jaap van Zweden with the Hong Kong Philharmonic, Siebel in Faust and Gianetta in L’elisir d’amore at Oper Köln, and Muriel in Alexander Raskatov’s Animal Farm at Dutch National Opera. Other notable roles include Hänsel in Hänsel und Gretel (Reise? Opera and Oper Köln), the Page in Salome, Flora in La Traviata, Dinah in Trouble in Tahiti, and Smeton in a concert performance of Anna Bolena, all with Dutch National Opera. She also brought her unique artistry to Seattle Opera as the Stewardess and Tisbe in La Cenerentola.
Maya’s talent has been widely recognized, earning her second prize at the Zenith Opera Competition, the Hans Gabor Belvedere Competition Rising Star Award, and the distinction of Grand Finalist at the Tenor Viñas Competition.
