The Opera Awards ceremony, postponed due to the Covid pandemic in 2020, will finally take place on May 10, 2021!
The shortlist includes two personal nominations for TACT artists - Konu Kim and Lena Belkina in the "Young Artist of the Year" category, alongside with the "Best Production" nomination for Tchaikovsky's "The Enchantress" from Opera de Lyon. The production's cast featured Evez Abdulla, Piotr Micinski, Oleg Budaratskiy, Christophe Poncet de Solages, Evgeny Solodovnikov , Simon Mechlinski, as well as Hetag Tedeev as assistant conductor.
Another nominee for the "Best New Production" is Rimsky-Korsakov's “The Tale of Tsar Saltan" from the La Monnaie/De Munt, with tenor Alexander Kravets as Shipman.
