We are delighted to announce the distinguished conductor, Mikhail Sinkevich, as the newest addition to our management roster. 

Mikhail Sinkevich's international acclaim is evident in his groundbreaking performances and collaborations. Notably, he conducted Shostakovich's "Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk" for the first time in Japan at the New National Theatre Tokyo, featuring an international cast of soloists, the New National Opera choir, and the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. His collaboration with the Wagner Foundation in Germany led to the successful premiere of "Der fliegende Holländer" in Donetsk, followed by performances in Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, and tours in Germany.

In the past season, Mikhail directed a diverse repertoire that showcased his versatility and skill. His work included "The Tsar's Bride" at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, productions of "Aleko," "Pagliacci," "Le nozze di Figaro," and "The Sleeping Beauty" in the Music Theater of the Republic of Karelia. He also took on operas such as "Mazeppa," "Il Trovatore," "Carmen," "Rigoletto," and "Jenufa," while staging ballets including "Swan Lake," "The Sleeping Beauty," and "Giselle" at the National Theater of Croatia in Zagreb.

In 2000, Mikhail joined the Mariinsky Theatre, where he conducted approximately 80 to 100 opera and ballet performances annually. He served as Deputy Artistic Director for many years, collaborating with renowned singers such as Anna Netrebko, Yusif Eyvazov, Vladimir Galouzine, Olga Borodina, Larissa Diadkova, Ekaterina Semenchuk, and Alexey Markov. His extensive repertoire on the Mariinsky stage included operas like "Le nozze di Figaro," "Lucia di Lammermoor," "Nabucco," "La traviata," "Aida," "Otello," "Macbeth," "Turandot," "Carmen," "Das Rheingold," "Die Walküre," "Salome," "Jenufa," and more.

Mikhail Sinkevich has also been a global ambassador of Russian opera and ballet, conducting on prestigious stages such as the Metropolitan Opera, the Royal Opera House London, Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, and in cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, Salzburg, Melbourne, Amsterdam, and Manchester.
