We are delighted to announce that mezzo-soprano Aleksandra Meteleva has joined our roster for worldwide management.
Former young artist of Teatro Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, and Rossini Opera Festival YAP in Pesaro, Aleksandra is set to debut in the title roles in Carmen and La Cenerentola and perform as Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Maddalena in Rigoletto, and La Vicina in Mavra. Her performances will grace prestigious stages, including Teatro alla Scala, Deutsche Oper Berlin, and Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
Her recent engagements include the portrayal of Isabella in L’Italiana in Algeri, Tebaldo in Don Carlo, and excerpts from the title role in Carmen, as well as appearances as the mezzo-soprano soloist in Rossini’s Stabat Mater and Tisbe in La Cenerentola, all at Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. At ROF Pesaro, she captivated audiences as Marchesa Melibea in Il viaggio a Reims among other roles.
A graduate of the Rossini State Music Conservatory Pesaro, the Rossini Opera Academy Pesaro, and the Young Artists Program of Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Aleksandra has honed her craft under the guidance of some of the opera world’s leading professionals. Her talent has been recognised with multiple wins in national and international competitions, further cementing her reputation as an artist to watch.
