TACT Artists Management is delighted to welcome Goderdzi Janelidze to the roster for worldwide representation. A graduate of Tbilisi State Conservatoire, the Georgian bass returns this season to the Royal Opera House and Opera National de Paris as Sparafucile in "Rigoletto", and makes his debut as Colline with Opéra National de Bordeaux in "La Boheme."
Recent highlights include Sparafucile in "Rigoletto" with Opera National de Paris, Bregenzer Festspiele, Teatro Colon, and the Canadian Opera Company. His “deep, cavernous voice” (Lara Othman, olyrix.com) also graced the stages of Grand Theatre Liceu as Colline, and New National Theatre Tokyo as Pimen “Boris Godunov”.
Goderdzi's repertoire includes Vodnik in "Rusalka" with Vlaanderen Opera, Don Quichotte at the Wexford Opera Festival, and Prince Gremin in "Eugene Onegin" at Vancouver Opera, he also performed with Bolshoi Theatre of Moscow, where he portrayed Konchak in "Prince Igor."
