We are pleased to announce that conductor Gaetano D’Espinosa has joined the roster of TACT Artists Management.

An artist of exceptional versatility and musical depth, D’Espinosa brings with him an impressive international career including both opera and symphonic repertoire at the very highest artistic levels. His recent and upcoming opera engagements include Salome at Teatro Massimo di Palermo, Der Fliegende Holländer, Carmen and L’elisir d’amore at New National Theatre Tokyo, Maria Stuarda at Oper Graz, and productions of Norma, La Traviata, Die Zauberflöte, and Il Viaggio a Reims at renowned houses such as Semperoper Dresden, Teatro La Fenice di Venezia, and Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.

On the concert stage, he maintains close collaborations with leading orchestras including the Staatskapelle Dresden, Orchestra Sinfonica della RAI, Bamberger Symphoniker, NHK Symphony Orchestra Tokyo, and Teatro Massimo Orchestra and Chorus, among others. He is a former Principal Guest Conductor of the Orchestra Verdi Milano and has appeared at major events such as the Salzburg Festival. His recording of Aribert Reimann’s Fünf Stücke für kleines Orchester marked a world premiere for Deutschlandfunk.

A former concertmaster of the Staatskapelle Dresden, D’Espinosa studied piano, violin, composition, and philosophy, and was mentored by Fabio Luisi.
