We are delighted to announce that maestro Diego García Rodríguez has joined our management roster. 

In the current season Diego García Rodríguez will debut at the prestigious Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona conducting Puccini's masterpiece ‘Turandot’. He will also be conducting many and varied productions including ‘Hänsel und Gretel’, ‘Don Carlo’ and ‘Aida’ at the Teatro Real in Madrid, ‘Macbeth’ at the Nacionala Opera i Balet in Skopje, ‘Carmen’ at the Opera Bałtycka in Gdansk and a series of Verdi classics including ‘Rigoletto’, ‘Macbeth’, ‘Il Trovatore’ and ‘Il Barbiere di Siviglia’ in Vigo. Additionally he is contributing to performances in Donostia with ‘Il Barbiere di Siviglia’ and ‘Rigoletto’ as well as taking on Kurt Weill's ‘Die Dreigroschenoper’ for the Centro Dramático Galego. Diego is also leading world premieres including ‘It Makes No Difference…’ by Simone Spagnolo at the Tête à Tête festival in London, ‘Die träumenden Knaben’ by Torsten Rasch at the ‘Two Moors Festival’ in Devon and ‘O Loro de Carlos V’ by Nani García in A Coruña. 

He is regularly invited as guest conductor by numerous orchestras worldwide including the Real Filharmonía de Galicia, Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia, Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León, Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias, Orquesta de la Comunitat Valenciana, Orquesta de Extremadura, Orquesta Filarmónica de Málaga, Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic in Zlín, Orchestre des Pays de Savoie, Akademicka Orkiestra Symfoniczna Bydgoszcz, Orquesta Joven de la Sinfónica de Galicia, Dartington Festival Orchestra and the Swiss instrumental ensemble ‘Kypris’. 

In addition to his work as a conductor Diego is a founder member and artistic director of the Taller Atlántico Contemporáneo (TAC), a Galician ensemble, with which he develops an intense activity in the diffusion of contemporary music and its connection with other artistic disciplines. With the Taller Atlántico Contemporáneo he performed at the Auditorio Nacional de Madrid, Semana de Música Religiosa de Cuenca, Festival Internacional de Música y Danza de Granada, Festival Internacional de Santander and Quincena musical Donostiarra.
