The 2026/27 season at Komische Oper Berlin features a wide-ranging repertoire, with several artists from our roster appearing across the season in diverse productions.
The season begins in autumn with Barrie Kosky’s production of Eugene Onegin (24 October – 25 December 2026), conducted by Anna Skryleva in her house debut. Alongside her, Maya Gour makes both her role and house debut as Olga.
In November, a new production of Madama Butterfly by Andrea Breth (21 November 2026 – 15 January 2027) includes Mihails Culpajevs as Pinkerton, marking both his role and house debut.
The new year opens with Akhnaten (9 January – 20 February 2027), where Frederik Bergman makes his house debut as Aye.
The season continues with a new production of Król Roger (30 January – 29 March 2027), where Artyom Wasnetsov appears as the Archbishop.
Later in the season, Porgy and Bess (9 May – 5 June 2027), directed by Barrie Kosky and conducted by James Gaffigan, features Latonia Moore as Bess and Mandla Mndebele as Crown—both making their house debuts.
We are delighted to see our artists contributing to such a vibrant and varied season in Berlin.
