We're thrilled to announce that bass Bastian Thomas Kohl has joined our artist management roster!
He is set to appear in the role of the Police Inspector in Der Rosenkavalier at Teatro alla Scala Milano under the baton of Kirill Petrenko. Bastian has recently performed as the Soldier in Strauss' Salome both at the Opera National de Paris and Teatro alla Scala Milano. His recent engagements include portraying Sarastro in Die Zauberflöte at the Bregenzer Festspiele, as well as guest performances at prestigious venues like the Grand Théâtre de Genève and Teatro della Fortuna in Italy, where he performed in Die Gezeichneten.
Bastian’s impressive previous concerts include performances with the Berliner Symphoniker and Maestro Lior Shambadal, as well as at the Bucharest Enescu Festival with Vladimir Jurowski. He has been featured in Handel's Saul with Nikolaus Harnoncourt at the Vienna Musikverein, and his remarkable voice can also be heard on the Margherita d'Anjou CD & DVD recording with Maestro Luisi at the Festival della Valle d'Itria. A highlight of his career was his participation in the world premiere of Moses at the Warsaw Philharmonic, conducted by Michail Jurowski.
We are thrilled to have him on our roster and look forward to supporting his continued success on both the opera stage and concert hall.
