We are thrilled to announce that the 2025-2026 season of the Opéra National de Lyon will showcase several exceptional artists from our TACT roster, bringing their creativity to a varied and compelling repertoire.
The season opens with Mussorgsky's Boris Godunov (13 October - 25 October 2025) with four of our remarkable artists on stage. Maxim Kuzmin-Karavaev will take on the role of Pimen, Mihails Culpajevs will appear as The Pretender (False Dmitry), David Leigh will star as Varlaam and Nadezhda Karyazina will portray Kseniya's nurse.
In the new year, soprano Marianne Croux will captivate audiences as Irma in Charpentier's Louise (29 January - 8 February 2026) followed by baritone Jérôme Boutillier performing the role of Lescaut in Puccini's Manon Lescaut (20 March - 7 April 2026).
At Britten's Billy Budd (21 March - 4 April 2026), bass-baritone Derek Welton will deliver a compelling portrayal of John Claggart.
With this line-up the upcoming season in Lyon promises to be an outstanding experience.
