Joanna Kędzior joins TACT for General Management

TACT is thrilled to welcome young Polish Soprano Joanna Kedzior for general managment. 

In the current season Kedzior made her Salzburger Festspiele debut  as part of the Young Singers Project and returned to the  Polish National Opera where is a regular invited guest from the age of 21. 

Kedzior professional  stage debut came at the age of 20 in the Poznan-based Opera Know-How Festival. The same year 2015/16, Kedzior debuted at the Poznan Opera House with the role of Cléophas in an opera adaptation of Petit Nicolas et les Copains. During her first year of studies, she also took part in Janacek’s Jenufa as Karolka, Angelika in Langer’s Figaro Gets a Divorce, Sorceress in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, and First Lady in Die Zauberflöte in  in  Poznan Opera House. 

With an impressive range of prizes from the Polish and International competitions, Kedzior has been making an imact on the operatic stages. Her awards include the 9th Veronica Dunne International Singing Competition in Dublin ( Second Prize, special award), 5th J.E.J. Reszke Vocal Competition in Czestochowa (Third Prize and special award), 23rd Riccardo Zandonai International Competition for Young Opera Singers in Trento, Italy (special award), Rudolf Petrak Singing Competition in Zilina, Slovakia (First Prize, special award), 1st Ars et Gloria International Individual Vocal Competition of Sacred Music in Katowice, Poland (Second Prize), 7th International Halina Halska-Fijalkowska Vocal Competition in Wroclaw, Poland (finals), 1st Polish National Vocal Competition in Drezdenko, Poland (Third Prize), 6th Polish National Maria Stankowa Vocal Festival in Olsztyn, Poland (Second Prize), 21st John Paul II Festival of Religious Songs – Cantate Domino in Koszalin, Poland (First Prize)
