Conductor Lidiya Yankovskaya signs to TACT
TACT International Art Management is delighted to welcome Russian-American conductor Lidiya Yankovskaya to its roster of artists for European management.
Ms Yankovskaya is Music Director of Chicago Opera Theater, a resident artist at National Sawdust in NYC and Artistic Director of Refugee Orchestra Project.
Recently has been named the recipient of a 2018 The Solti Foundation U.S. Career Assistance Award. Ms Yankovskaya was also featured in the 2017 Bruno Walter National Conductor Preview and is a part of The Dallas Opera’s Hart Institute for Women Conductors.
Next season highlights in Chicago include Tchaikovsky's Iolanta and Heggie's Moby Dick. She will also make her debut with Washington National Opera and the Spoleto Festival USA. Symphonic engagements include Nashville Symphony Orchestra, Stamford Symphony, Chicago Philharmonic and Symphony New Hampshire among others.
She has previously served as assistant conductor to Lorin Maazel at the Castleton Festival, where she regularly stepped in for Maazel in rehearsals and performance with the Festival Orchestra.
