Biography highlights

Hetag Tedeev, born in 1996 in Vladikavkaz, Russia,  is a fourth year student of Opera and Symphony conducting faculty at the St.Petersburg State Conservatory. He also graduated from the Vladikavkaz College of Arts in viola playing and music theory and  took part in the master-classes of professor Yuri Simonov and Jonnathan Brett’s International Conducting Masterclass.


His recent engagements include Rachmaninoff’s Symphonic dances with Mariinsky orchestra in the Big Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, Rachmaninoff’s Aleko in Yaroslavl, Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow and Orenburg with the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Center, Eugene Onegin in the Moscow Helikon Opera and Iolanta with the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Center, Moscow. 


Since 2013 he has regularly collaborated with the Rostropovich Foundation and conducted at the Mstislav Rostropovich International Festival in Baku, as well as the Zagir Ismagilov International Competition in Ufa. 


In 2007 he started studying symphonic conducting in the class of the composer and conductor – Tamerlan Hosroev. During his studies Hetag Tedeev conducted 39 concerts with the State Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted Mozart’s Requiem with the joint orchestra of Mariinsky theatre and Rostov Philharmonic.
