Orff's Carmina Burana (HMT München, ROH Muscat, and Cairo Opera House), Prince Tarquinius in The rape of Lucretia (HMT München), Don Cassandro in Mozart's La finta semplice (Grünwald and Goethe-Theater, Bad Lauchstädt).

 

Starting from the season 2016/17 Carl Rumstadt has joined the soloists' ensemble of Konzert Theater Bern where he was heard as Figaro and Papageno among other roles. For the season 2017/18 he will sing in Bern Masetto, Leporello and Giovanni.

He has performed in multiple stage and concert productions appearing as Bardolfo in Salieri's Falstaff (Kammeroper München), Father in Hänsel und Gretel (Audimax Regensburg), Man in Black in Boyle's Kaspar Hauser (German original production: Nuremberg, Glasgow, Edinburgh), Herr Fluth (Ford) in Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor and Figaro in Le nozze di Figaro (Music Academy Munich), Tarabotto in Rossini's L'inganno felice, Pope/Barberini/Father in Glass' Galileo Galilei and Argenio in Handel's Imeneo (Bavarian Theatre Academy), Gregorio in Romeo et Juliette (Isny Opera Festival).


His concert repertoire comprises works by Bach and Mendelssohn, as well as Schumann, Schubert and Brahms Lieder. He has performed Carl Orff's Der Mond at the Carl Orff Festspiele in Andechs and Staatstheater Kassel.
